WE ARE NOT MUSED

When the words won’t come, is it just a pause
Or even the start of permanent drought
Perhaps more funds are needed for the cause
They’ll resume sometime soon I have no doubt
With the release of anger, it’s a rout
They’ll emerge showing guilt, a few at first
Some appear brazen, and others will pout
Being so dry, they will soon slake your thirst
