Sin that I have a nounparall maistress,
The which hath whool my service and mine hert,
I shall be glad, for any greef or smert,
To serve hir in hir goodly lustiness:
For now I trust to have, doutless,
More joy then ther be stiches in my shert.

Sin that I have a nounparall maistress,

Though, to envious, it be heviness
And sorow gret, to don hem prike and stert,
Yet, by my trouthe, when that I me advert,
Ther displesere it is my gret gladness.
