What today is dark with sorrow,
Will be bright with joy tomorrow;
Only trust me.
All the gloomy days will brighten,
All the heavy clouds will lighten;
Only trust me.
Time will draw aside the curtain,
From what now is but uncertain;
Only trust me.
Not the things which seem believing,
What we see is oft deceiving;
Only trust me.
But forgetting all past sorrow,
Waiting patiently the 'morrow;
Only trust me.
