Purananuru - Part 231

Should his body wish, let it advance to the shining cremation fire
piled up of sticks with singed black tips like those a Kuravan
of the hills cuts on a burned-out field, or if it does not wish
to advance toward the fire, let it go and rise on its own to touch
the sky! That man was like the glowing sun
with the cool-rayed moon of his umbrella and his fame will never die.
