To the Right Honourable George, Earle of Shrewsbury, Lord Talbot, Furnivall, Verden and Strange of Blackmere
Greatt Globe, which many honours comprehend.
Evermore many vertues so intend.
On whom Great Britaine then casting an eye,
Reviewes your worth, and O Great Globe doth cry.
Great are the honours, which by birth transcending
Entire are on your head, vertue attending.
Thus honour honours grace, and grace againe
A mutuall honour doth not thence restraine.
Letting the world see, that who grace doth honour,
(Blest foul indeed) hath still transferr'd upon her,
On her who honours grace, honour againe
Thus round, O Great Globe , still thou dost remaine.
