Forward! Announce the dust cloud's coming
Revolution in you I see my feet
in you outlaws
I know you are me Forward!
naked radiant angry resentful full of fire
Forward!
in you I see our hunger in you I see
our blood in you
I see our death
Forward! destroy
the authority of lies, those " mind-forged manacles "
Forward!
in you I see
kings' tombs
in the fury and the dust, in you I see
brazen cities driven by sand
turning red, seething in the air, I see a gaping chasm
a bird singing of blood and fire
Forward! in you I see children growing with anger
Forward!
before the world has time to turn
they'll free the bird of those killed
again and again on the streets,
buried headless again, and again
who've brought our language back to us
taught rebellion to turn tragic
and become a demon redoubled
Forward!
a prophecy shakes us out of our graves
away from bullets
away from old loyalties


Forward forward!
In you I see
those authority has slain
put on leaf and flower, and fly
to create out of those killed senselessly
the banners of the end
and the beginning.
