Separation

I was together with my lord as form and shadow; now we are divided as Wu from Yüeh. From our jade pillow
For the past year have we been torn asunder and parted.
I mount the terrace and gaze to the north, where mist and rain are dark—
I turn my body; I weep, before the moon in the still sky.
