For Several Years I Have Wanted To Grow a Garden, But Have Never Finished One. This Year It Is Already Halfway Through Summer, and This Has Made Me Despondent

I always talk of living in the mountains,
but I can't even care for my one acre of land!
A willow grew up here — now I scold children
for harming it!
Bamboo was planted here — but it too is going to ruin.
How can I trouble to " form the ranks " again and again?
The problem is laziness; I'm not being stingy!
I wonder if the year hsin-hai
has any peace in store for Master Chu Yün-ming!
