On Sophia Carr, Indisposed

Love demands that precious flower,
Let Hygeia guard the bower;
Light again the rosy hue,
And the lily's claim subdue!
Beauty can the charm repay
With its animating ray;
Smiles that Hebe would adorn,
Tresses of the radiant morn.
Beauty is the gem of Health ,
It is Nature's precious wealth —
Beauty that, if sight were blind ,
Still would charm in Sophy's mind.
