The Throne of Grace

Come boldly to the throne of grace,
Our great High Priest is there;
Come, venture to that holy place,
Beneath his guardian care.

Come boldly to the throne of grace,
Where Jesus kindly pleads;
Ours cannot be a desp'rate case,
While Jesus intercedes.

Come boldly to the throne of grace —
The centre of his love;
Where sweet attractions never cease
To draw our hearts above.

Come boldly to the throne of grace,
With all your wants and fears;
The Svior's hand shall kindly chase
Away the bitt'rest tears.

Come boldly to the throne of grace,
There shall our spirits soar;
There we will pray, and never cease,
'Till time shall be no more.
