1. Through willing heart and helping hand, Behold a-
2. Be welcomed here the old, the young, The rich, the
chieved our long desire! And gathered here, a
poor, the prince and thrall. Be Jesus' motto
household band, We light tonight the household fire.
high uphung: Who serveth most is chief of all.

3. Here mirth and pastime speed the hour,
The lighter moods that ease our care;

Give guidance to the ways we fare!

4. May human fellowship here take

5. O Thou whose service, wide and free,
Is inward strength and light and cheer,
Be that our bond of unity
And fire the souls that gather here!
