I befriended the darkness,
the moon inside a hole in the damp walls.
I advanced toward a group wearing bedouin clothes
but recognized no one.
One of them might remember me, I thought,
for my memory is weak in the fifth summer.
I raised my hand saying, " Greetings! "
swallowed my pain, and knocked at her door.
