One of my friends chose to come out as a transman. I'm really proud of him! Though he liked his given name, unfortunately people were not taking him seriously, so he felt the need to change his name to Rain. He's spent the last few years getting into celebrating his family's Japanese heritage too, so I tried to write a haiku for him celebrating him as he blooms along his journey.
