When Youth and Beauty Meet Togither

When Youth and Beauty meet togither,
There 's work for breath;
But when they both begin to wither,
There 's work for Death.

When Love and Honour work togither,
There 's work for fame;
But when they both begin to wither,
There 's work for shame.

When Hope and Labour go togither,
There 's work for gain;
But when they both begin to wither,
There 's work for pain.

When Wit and Virtue work togither,
Their work goes well;
But when they both begin to wither,
There 's work for Hell.

Let then perfections live togither,
And work for praise;
For when their work begins to wither
Their worth decays.
