Classic Poem

When the blessed Saviour calls you
You must then prepare to go,
Though it be to steaming jungles
Or the Northland's ice and snow.

He will ask but what is needed,
For He knows all things to be;
When He speaks, then answer quickly
His kind, tender " Follow Me. "

In His steps is joy forever,
By His side is peace untold;
Though you walk through troubled waters
His sure hand will safe-uphold.

Then, forsaking all things gladly,
That you may His bidding do,
You will find a joy in service
That will bless the world and you!
