Oh now the certaine cause I know
whence the Rose, and Lillies grow
on your faire Cheeke, those often showers
which you doe weepe, produce those flowers;
if that the flouds could Venus bring,
and warlike Mars from Juno spring,
why may not hence two Gods arise,
this from your Cheeke, that from your Eyes.
