Fall Morning
Quietly the rain pattered on our tin roof
As I looked out my window to see a hoof
The crunching of the leaves under my horse
As she trotted to get food on her course
Joy filled my heart on this new fall day
As the leaves turn red in their own way
Slip into my warm boots and pants
Run outside to play and dance
