Thoughts lapse into
Panicked state -
Serial relapser

'Work the program'
'Keep coming back'
Words spin in my mind

A sudden pattering at
The front window
Interrupts -

A small bird has flown in
Through the doorway
And is now trapped

Frantic to save herself
She flutters
Finding only failure

Urgently propelled
To help her

Gun control In America

Give me one good reason why
United we must take a stand to ban all
No more guns equals no more terror

Can’t we just lay them all aside for god’s sake?
One bullet all too often leads to another
No doubt about that after the recent horrors I’m sure
Take up no more arms and maybe we’ll be that much closer to world peace
Running from this issue is no longer a luxury we as a people can afford
One more innocent person should’t have to die just because the government are fraidy cats

Pots of geraniums down the front steps
peeking from the windowsills
the hanging baskets on the front verandas
or the back porches,
Ravishing beds of fragrant shrubs
adorning the sidewalks,
Swathes of jewel-like crocus flowers
throughout lawns and rockeries,
Patches of cheeriest golden daffodils,
The deciduous magnolias blooming...
There are flowers everywhere
brilliant beauty and wondrous aroma of roses
a kaleidoscope of gorgeous multicolored tulips,
The air is rife with sweet scent
and the sun is shining bright;

Can someone please tell me,
