From the Cliffs

by

Laid before me is the wide sky
A wash of grey and blue
Waves smudged in beneath, white-capped

Far below, an ant
Beetles across the sand, shoulders hunched
Scrunched against the wind

The dog, a smaller speck
Rushes at the waves
They rush back, barking and worrying.

FRIENDSHIP

FRIENDSHIP
Friendship is like a water pot
It falls down and it breaks
But if you love your pot
You will mould it again.

Friendship is like a piece of paper
If you hold it carelessly, it will tear
But if you treasure what is on the paper
You will glue the torn part.

Friendship is like starting a car in the morning
You can twist the ignition and it easily starts
All you will not know is whether it will complete the journey
But if Treasure your car and its value, you will repair when it breaks.

To you my love

I have seen shinning flowers,
But not beyond the way you shine.
I have seen beautiful girls,
But not more than you.
Your smile is the best,
Your laughter all can hear.
Your my queen,
My love,
my happiness.
Your kisses,
I cann't resist them.
I miss your hugs
And now and feeling cold because your far.

From Osipo

A special word

A special word.
I have the most beautiful gift for
I have thought of a beautiful word for you
The word was created by the heavens
The word sounds like magic from above
It makes hearts of men go grazy
It makes many long for more.

I know it will make you smile
I know it will make you tremble
I know it will make you happy

Rain

by

In our dusty land, the rain would be worshipped like a God
If we were the kind to worship such things
Not only farmers dance hungrily under a soaking downpour

Here on this green island long faces are pulled
Tut-tuts muttered
“God, will it ever stop!”

I tut in my turn
But then lift my face to the grey and tilt my umbrella
Dancing on the inside
