April is a single mom who lives in rural West Virginia where she was born and raised. Her love of writing poetry and short fiction began in high school where she took creative writing classes. Her hobbies include fossil hunting and upcycling anything old. Her work has been published in Brick Street Poetry - Anthology "Cowboys and Cocktails" and Poetry Soup.
