Notice, did I joyfully wake up today,
from a wonderland so rapt on cue,
oh that dream of milling town dwellers,
at a rapid noonday pulse now set,
such engagement is a portrait waiting,
to be captured without delay,
mystic moment enigmatic in its segue,
a morph from urban passage deeply etched,
snap, picture, seize, record the vibrant verve,
it might vanish into rued clouds taut veil,
this silken vignette such transport rampant,
never let occasions surreptitiously so slip,
recall, recollection later badgering loss,
an opportunity nostalgic as wanton lapse,
just for minute microcosm, gold lodgement spurned,
though not intentional it has that niggling echo,
which may not ever surface in future sadly,
have that precious notebook, pen and pencil,
sweet eternal wistfulness on camera to indulge,
beyond the vastness of eternity
