so many reasons
to awake now
sun, stars, moon
true  friendships
zest for life
and the deep
sweet attachment
pursuit of vision
and there are so
many of them
to be grateful
for fortune and luck
benefits received
and then joy
which is true
and doesn’t fade
with time’s passage
to stay in tune
with expanding
number of things
to be glad for
is the trick
but in actual
terms isn’t because
happiness is sought
and yet found
in abundance
in front of us
the abiding love
never distant
but only seems
to be so but
maybe that is
an ephemera
as indeed it
should dawn
be an onus
to appreciate
hours, minutes,
days as the gems
that they are
