Can you feel my heart?
Can you feel it beating as it harmonizes with hers?
A perfect symphony
Complementing one another
We sound good together
 

Combined the energy explodes
A triumphant climax.
Others stop to listen
Is it admiration or criticism? 

Our souls collage
While we drive, the music connects us
We talk
We laugh
The night ends.

I see her again
Her smile somber
Like distant relatives
Our conversation turns simple

I can feel her heart.
It beats not for me: for another girl.
Perhaps she is pretty,
Beautiful maybe.

Can you feel my heart?
It’s not beating like it used to
We are out of sync and
It's breaking now,
The pieces fall
Does she know how it shattered?
