An Escape from All of this, A place to Run and Hide,
Away from My Pain and Sorrow Today, I cannot seem to Find.
Laughing, Lurking in Cast Shadows it seems they are more Defined,
Weighing Heavy upon my Heart, these Beasts of Burden I bare Inside.
Tears cascade down upon my Cheek from Blood Shot Tired Eyes,
Sobs of Agony rack my Numbed body with a Force I Cannot Control,
Head once Throbbing with Rage has now Died down, Numb and Dull
Voice Trembles, Lost that once Loving Words now Found to be Lies
I am Lost and Alone in the Darkness that has Befallen me on this Day,
Confusing Questions arise, so much Left in the Darkness, Left Unsaid.
Will Answers Arouse more Resentments Cause more Lies to be Fed?
To an Escape from this Moment, a Place to Hide from this Memory,
I Fear that I shall Never be able to Seek out and Find My Way.
