We've reached floor 32 of a hotel
An elevator lifts us up one more
A message: "Fire engulfs the bottom floor
"Avoid the elevators, and fare well!"
No sooner had the lights gone out we fell
The people scream and beat the metal door
Accelerating down and down we soar
The heat increases, hotter now than hell

And as I watch the walls glow fiery red
I wonder, what a way to be found dead!
Face fear of fire and falling, but instead
I'll die of suffocation from the dread!

But terror's wrath is only in my head
I find myself, at impact, safe in bed.
