Hidden under feminity,
Concealed by gentleness,
Covered by the “Weaker sex”,
Is the all encompassing power.
Centuries of intimidation
Nonrecognition dating since eternity
In each generation gone by,
Maltreatment reigns as order of the day
Pain, torture, sorrow, name them
Bourne on the shoulders
Of none other,
Female, yes she.
But through thick and thin
Like a slave turned king,
Feminity reigns in every generation,
Knowingly or ignorantly.
Before enthronement of great men,
Husbands and sons alike,
A queen, reigning years earlier,
Must have molded in her Feminine power.
