Grey is the hue of a squirrel's tufted tail,
Grey is the steel of an old barn pail,

Grey is the feel of a frayed worn coat,
Grey is the silt that bathes in a moat,
Grey is wool, freshly sheared,
Grey is the storm that has neared,
Grey is the feeling on a rainy day,
Grey is the blanket that has begun to fray,
Grey is a cloud that is dark and weary,
Grey is a cave that is damp and dreary,
Grey is forgotten, gone astray,
Grey is a needle in a bale of hay,
Grey is the wail of an old banshee,
Grey is the color you sometimes see...
