These pathways exploded, the fragments are scattered.
My footprints are jagged, stumbled, and shattered.
I've forsaken myself, but that's never mattered.
The stairway to hell, is poor Jacob's ladder.
I follow my shadow, it leads me to pain.
Chasing these feelings I'm driven insane.
The secret to life, is stay in your lane.
And seeking a passage of what you can sustain.
Building new bridges and watching them burn.
An empire of karma is something you earn.
Stalking my freedom I'm waiting my turn.
Placed in this cell with a lesson to learn.
When living so fast, we're given a slow stare.
Promised with death, to me that seems unfair.
You live in the past, cause it's easy to go there.
I'm stuck in the present, Halfway To Nowhere.
