I am what is not, have seen that which is invisible
I am strong as iron, my bronze clutches invincible
I am bowed to yet am crownless
I have ears that hear the soundless
I can run upon water’s glossy surface
I can swim to where the mermaids travel furthest

I am who I am and what I am and which I am

My names is known around yet truly never seen
And where the end of the rainbow is, I can be found between
Traveling in the deepest caverns and on the highest peaks
Searching for what no one ever knowing seeks
I have chosen courses for the men that I have met
Some to the south, some east, some down I let

I am who I am and what I am and which I am

I have hidden many treasures far beyond man’s reach
But I have left some tiny, secret key for each
I have carried many things from shore to shore
I have breathed far less and I have breathed far more
And all the waves and waters I command
Their splashing tongues have learned to understand

I am who I am and what I am and which I am
Wind
