I am Everything...

I am all that lies Between...

I am the Days Dawning Light,
I am the Empty Shroud of Night

I am the Chaos that Corrupts the Mind,
The Serenity ones Heart Aches to Find

I am the Agonizing Distance between Heart and Soul,
Relentlessly Tormented with Growing Emptiness

I am the Raging Flames of a Lovers Desire,
The Dying embers, Remnants in Cold Ash

I am the arms that Cradle you as you Drift to Sleep,
The Lullaby fading into the Peaceful Distance

I am the Beautiful Image behind Closed Eyes,
The Unforgiving Nightmare that Stitches them Shut

I am the Blank Parchment laying in Wait,
To be Stained with the Ink of a Poets Sins and Sorrows

I am Captor of my Soul and Slave to my Heart,
I am the Prison and the Prisoner all in One

I am the Places that I run to Escape from Myself,
The Dwelling of Impurities Hidden behind Smiling Eyes

I am the Shadow that Lurks behind Waiting for you,
The Sunlight you Crave to Touch your Face

I am the Sweetened Taste of Lies upon your Lips,
The Bitter Regret of Unwanted Truth

I am the Angel that has Fallen,
The Demon that has Risen
