Member Poem

The sun fading so far
No sense of where you're from
Disappearing fast into the abyss; the
Cold water engulfs you into the dark
Eyes closing, fists clenched, you're sucked in
Flailing helplessly, the breathe escapes you; the
Adrenalin pumps ferociously, as you break the surface of the lake,
Frigid air pierces your skin, bringing life back to your body;
Limbs numb, you push forward, not wanting to be lost, a dead shape.
