I carry flowers waiting for my lost love to return

I have all her favorites

Orchids, roses, tulips and sunflowers

All await her return

With colors so lush and vivid, surely to keep my love memorized

But my flowers begin to wilt, turn earth toned and crumble

They have died along with the love

I wait with the sweetest chocolates for my lost love

To tantalize her sweet tooth and force fierce smiles upon her

I have arranged the most elegant candies and I ache for her to receive them

But the chocolates have begun to melt

No longer in a solid form

They have slipped away along with the love

I wait with jewels for my lost love

Only the rarest gems may touch her flawless skin

The deepest green emeralds, to the brightest shining purple of amethyst

The diamonds are clear as fresh rivers and the rubies redder than the setting sun

Crowns of gold for her precious head

Even platinum and silver thrones for her to rest

These jewels become duller by the days past

Losing their luster and magic

They have become dreary and somber along with the love

I have all my love to give my lost love

I want it to surround her with its omnipotent force

My love will infuse into her marrow and flow with her blood

This love will be as tumultuous as a waterfall and as kind as a kiss

Sadly this love has nowhere to enter and slowly fades

It has evanesced along with the her and her love
