Dear Mr. Secretary:
I am writing to inform you that I
have petitioned General Mills on behalf of the military
to convert Box Tops for Education to Box Tops for Defense.
You’re welcome.
In light of recent budget cuts, you will be pleased to know
that each Box Top equals ten cents
and each participating branch may earn up to $20,000/year.
Checks will be mailed out twice a year, once in December and once in April.
You are free to use the funds however you wish, new body armor or faster jets.
Just remember that expired Box Tops will not be accepted.
Enclosed please find 87 Box Tops that our family has collected over the past year.
The kids enjoyed eating the Cheerios and Grandma likes
Cascadian Farm Organic Hearty Morning Fiber Cereal.
There may be some blood in the mix. I sliced open a finger trying to get
the Box Top off the Land O Lakes Butter with Canola Oil plastic tub.
