Member Poem

Poor is the needle who cant squeeze a camel through its eye.
.
Poor is the forest for all of its x-marked trees.
.
Poor is the animal with a god,
.
a poor wretched thing
to be loved in communion with its opposition--
.
a living coffee table book,
a conversation piece,
an empty wallet with a bottomless welfare hole,
a refrigerator with a couple food items in it,
the cosmos of Campbell's chicken noodle soup,
and an expired frozen turkey from a Cleveland City Mission.

At night, i dreamt i was a woodland mouse
sleeping warmly in a cigar box lined with cotton balls.
