A racy Raccoon met a sly Squirrel
Said hello! Though knew him not well
and invited him for tea and some nuts,
There’re no two opinions, ifs or buts.
But an Owl felt this was kind of funny
though the day was bright and sunny
to ask the Squirrel for tea and pancake
While he was up and wide-eyed awake.
Finally, all three had a grand breakfast
Lots of merriment shared together at last,
While Squirrel’s nutty tales were awash
Raccoon’s story was all about the trash.
Only the barn Owl was all witty and wise
and recited Edgar A Poe’s poems precise
which Raccoon and Squirrel knew not at all
Evermore, explaining fell on this wise Owl.
