The Tap
Drips
Into the polished ceramic bowl
Echoing
Through the
Paper walls
We should fix it
But it doesn’t seem to be hurting anyone.

The bowl is half full
Filled with murky white water
I glimpse at my reflection
A distorted white beast stares back
The tap continues to drip
We should fix it
But it doesn’t seem to be hurting anyone.

The bowl is full
Filled to the brim with jet black water
I glimpse into the water
But nothing reflects
No light escapes the darkness
The tap drips
We should fix it
But it doesn't seem to be hurting anyone.

Overflow
The paper walls dissolve
What was once structure turns into
Rubble
Nothing but pulp remains
We should have fixed it.
But it didn't seem to be hurting anybody.
