The seed is implanted and a life originates.
Roots now extend, embracing their surroundings.
Through the rains the buds start to sprout,
Cueing the stalk, stem or stump to appear.
The stalk gradually yet rapidly develops,
As the waters from the heavens steadily empties down.
Through the damp and dry, cold and scorching, the stalk continues to mature.
The branches now begin to peek out their brown, brambly selves.
Winter arrives, summer departs, autumn delays, spring lingers on
And soon,
The young blossoms of fruit.
Their seeds are dispersed by the East wind,
Propelling them to and fro.
A new seed is planted.
