You peer into my unwavering eyes
As I stare into your faltering glance
A cruel storm looms over us up in the skies
But our lingering gaze puts us in trance

Snow falls with such rapidity and resolve
Silver flakes shed from the vaults of heaven
Falling in profusion til they dissolve
Onto the earth's bed we watch it leaven

We saunter through this bright and earthly scene
Interrupting the momentum of snow
As it melts on our skin while a sunbeam
Flickers in your eyes, making your skin glow

In that cold air we thaw our longing hearts
A flurry of feelings and lure imparts.
