Member Poem

In three weeks I will have
the results of my 
bone marrow biopsy.
That's a long time to live scared. 
I'm trying to
forget about it. 

Sometimes I see
myself watching
a fast river,
sometimes a river
with rocks and
steep banks and
fallen trees.
Or on a sunny day, seeing through to the bottom
where the small fish play.
