Do you believe in magic? I never thought I did.
I'm not talking about circus acts, but something others would forbid.
Tempting fate, and reaching out, instead of doing it alone.
The me I knew ten years ago would fight and not condone.
To put your hope and future in someone elses hands?
Now that's a scary thing, to venture into unknown lands.
Alas, though, if its right its perfect, and if its wrong you'll know, that this misguided misstep will cost pieces of your soul.
But if, indeed, its perfect, it will heal all other wounds, and will leave your heart soaring, like helium balloons.
Now, do you believe in magic? I ask this once again.
Would you take the gamble, at the risk you wouldnt win?
