Blossom stained breezes whispered sweet nothings through the rolling oaks as they danced across the horizon
Waking the earth as dawn drooled lazy drops of golden light
Flora's tendrils tickle the clouds with rejuvenating glee while fiery glows painted the sky
Glazing the greensward with a honey film
It waltzed on feathery footsteps across the delicate horizon
Sun-ripened winds filling withered lungs
Sickly, trembling hands reaching, wanting
Consuming the essence of all within It's darkened promenade
Once vibrant escapes filled with the despair of deathly greys
Abruptly It stopped
Looking upon the autumnal star resting in the vault of heaven
It fades, like a passing thought in a sea of doubt
Untouched is the earth that once lay beneath Its feet
