Vignette

Skies so blue,
I mean black; ominous
Yet, I smile at the sight of you
Though you're nowhere close
Only your essence lingers.
How do you miss a soulless soul?
Holding on to what was promised,
Guaranteed. Written. Printed.
Opposite results.
Up all night, sleep all day.
Insomniac. Low energy.
Hyped. High.
My mind running faster than your lies.
Guess this is what they would call
Vignette.

Inspiration

by elle68

We go thru life waiting
Watching
For those Perfect Moments
We wish to freeze them in time
Either with picture or by writing
What if
We have all been wrong
What if
Tragedy & Those other Tough Moments of life
See, They all change us
We feel so damaged at times
Without acknowledging the”moment”
The moment of change within us
This could be one of the greatest opportunities
To record ourselves
We allow honest emotions to release

You.

This is for everyone, yes even You! So get together ya'll - let's plan.

No matter who You really are, a child or a woman/a man.

So there is need for the vibes of anger, sadness & confusion;

Love reigns supreme and the rest is all an illusion.

This message is wrapped in all powerful levels of positivity,

Even though that we are told we have no amazing superhuman capability.

The Darkness

by elle68

At my lowest
Alive but alone
Waiting for death
Eyes  closed
Placed the barrel to my head
Paused for a moment
Just a moment
Felt a tap on my shoulder
I slowly opened my eyes
Blinked because there was still darkness
But slowly I began to see the stars
Each shining so bright
They pulled me through the darkest night
Night after night
Finally just as suddenly
As an eclipse
The Sun began to shine
My days are always filled with brightness now
The night still falls
But I'm going to see the stars

Moving On (Goodbye Bartley Green)

I’m going back
The long familiar roads I used to walk
down every day now seem so very strange
Though nothing’s changed
I’m still on track
In someone else’s world the shadowy
sinister trees jump out and hide my view
Just passing through
Why am I living in
a place where no-one smiles
All that I can see feels so strange to me
Goodbye Bartley Green
