Khalid Mukhtar spends most of his leisure writing classical poetry and experimenting with traditional forms and meters, and contributing to his blog as time allows.

 

He attends open mics at Highland Park Poetryand weekly meetups with the Naperville Writers Group. In addition to poetry, Khalid is an aspiring novelist, having completed two manuscripts of fiction drama. He is presently working on his third novel.
