Despair
Cruel suffering and sorrow
Of my torture make an end,
For no respite would I borrow,
Take no thought then any morrow
Unto my sad days to send.
Cure or comfort will I none.
At the outset of my woe
Said I loudly: " Life is done;
Since such torment I have won,
No relief is mine to know. "

Take no thought then any morrow
Unto my sad days to send.
Cure or comfort will I none.
At the outset of my woe
Said I loudly: " Life is done;
