To Sir Thomas Woodhouse

You are the man, that well descerne what betters
An high fortune, and can preferre good letters
Before those painted plumes, which Crowne the crest
Of swelling honor: such great interest
In your most worthy parts possesseth art,
That your high wisedome seemes to have got the start
Of your great fortunes, though they well befit
Both your thrice worthy Pedigree, and wit.
